This article is to explore educational workers\u2019 empirical\u00a0experience. The experiences of the development of Grassroots\u00a0Teachers\u2019 Association are described, and the process of women\u00a0teachers\u2019 collective identity is explained. The significance of\u00a0Grassroots Teachers\u2019 Association consists not in elitism or\u00a0individualism, rather it is found in the consciousness and action of\u00a0\u201cwomen\u201d \u201cteachers,\u201d who formed the collective progress and a\u00a0challenge on the traditional system. Through the story-telling of a\u00a0teacher who at first alienated from other, and then gradually owned\u00a0back her role of a teacher, made contact with other teachers, and finally\u00a0shaped collective identity among different teachers, this article clearly\u00a0depicts the development of the teachers\u2019 organization. The teachers\u2019\u00a0collective identity can only be formed through the awakening of women\u00a0consciousness, group assistance and action research methodology,\u00a0restoration of teachers\u2019 professional autonomy, contact with other\u00a0teachers, respect in each other, and promotion of the implementation\u00a0capability of action research. The present article offers a new\u00a0perspective of \u201ccollective teachers\u201d instead of the traditional idea of\u00a0\u201cindividual teacher\u201d on the issues of teachers\u2019 dilemma and\u00a0identification.<\/p>\n
