The study chooses end-stage renal disease patient samples less than\u00a055 years old who had dialysis cure within two years. We have 82\u00a0interviewees. Experienced clinical psychologists use a structured\u00a0questionnaire to conduct interviews. The contents of the questionnaire\u00a0include \u201cpatient role identification scale\u201d and the relative change of selfevaluation\u00a0and psychological centrality of eight self domains.
\nWe use \u201cpatients role identification scale\u201d to select 17 resistance\u00a0and 36 acceptance stage patients for comparison analysis. The result\u00a0indicates that present global self-esteem of the two groups compare with\u00a0that of before the disease has a significant decrease. In the self-evaluation\u00a0relative change scale, the acceptance stage patients drop the scale\u00a0dramatically when disease onset and come back slowly but not the level\u00a0as before. The resistance stage patients evaluate themselves as no\u00a0significant differences than before and expect they can get well as before.\u00a0In psychological centrality relative change scale, the acceptance stage\u00a0patients realize that nothing is so important except \u201chealth status\u201d and\u00a0\u201csupports from family\u201d. Even though the resistance stage patients have\u00a0the same duration of disease they still can\u2019t adjust their psychological\u00a0centrality of self domains as those patients in acceptance stage. The\u00a0results indicate that the differences of self- evaluation and psychological\u00a0centrality between two groups are due to social identity of patients.<\/p>\n
