The main task of rehabilitation is then expected to screen out high-risk psychologically traumatized population for further treatment. The present article, however, suggests that, for the psychological difficulties in such victims, the earthquake is a triggering event which evokes previous psychological problems that play major roles in life after catastrophe. With this understanding, psychological rehabilitation should not only focus on \u201csymptom\u201d induced by traumatic stress, but should have a broader horizon in order to attend to the victims\u2019 lives as a whole. Besides the analysis of the psychological world of the victims, the present article also includes four other major parts: first, reflections and suggestions about the role and intervention of psychologists in the rehabilitation; second, two hypotheses, \u201ccatastrophe complex\u201d and \u201cpsychological radiation\u201d; third, a model of post-catastrophe psychological intervention; and  \u672c\u520a\u4ee5\u5275\u65b0\u3001\u5c0d\u8a71\u3001\u878d\u5408\u70ba\u6838\u5fc3\u7de8\u8f2f\u7406\u5ff5\uff0c\u5e0c\u671b\u900f\u904e\u5275\u65b0\uff0c\u523a\u6fc0\u65b0\u7684\u601d\u8003\u65b9\u5411\uff0c\u767c\u5c55\u65b0\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u4e3b\u984c\uff1b\u63d0\u4f9b\u958b\u95ca\u7684\u5712\u5730\uff0c\u4fc3\u9032\u4e0d\u540c\u7814\u7a76\u9818\u57df\u8207\u5178\u7bc4\u9593\u7684\u5c0d\u8a71\u8207\u5c0a\u91cd\uff1b\u5728\u5167\u5bb9\u53d6\u5411\u4e0a\uff0c\u5247\u5f37\u8abf\u5fc3\u7406\u5b78\u517c\u5177\u79d1\u5b78\u8207\u4eba\u6587\u7684\u672c\u8cea\uff0c\u4fc3\u9032\u7406\u8ad6\u8207\u5be6\u52d9\u7684\u878d\u5408\uff0c\u5f70\u986f\u61c9\u7528\u5fc3\u7406\u5b78\u7684\u7279\u8272\u3002
