The aim of this study is to investigate current public high schools, private\u00a0high schools and vocational schools students their values of having children and\u00a0costs of having children in Taiwan. Furthermore, to analyze the relationship of\u00a0values of children, number of children to have and the intension over having\u00a0children under the condition of unexpected pregnant. This study can be\u00a0summarized as the following points. 1.Result shows a high ratio that adolescent\u00a0would like to have two children in the future. 2.To adolescent, the main reasons\u00a0for having children are \u201cPower and influence, primary group ties and affection,\u00a0family joy\u201d. \u201cExpansion of self, security in old age\u201d is given less thought.3.\u201cBurden of growth\u201d is the major consideration for young people to think of\u00a0\u201ccosts of having children\u201d. 4.\u201cValues of children\u201d varies due to self-experiences\u00a0that influenced by gender, courses taken, education level, peer relationship,\u00a0message from pregnancies before marriage and their parents\u2019 education level.\u00a05.Element \u201cresponsibility over children\u2019s education\u201d is most agreed by\u00a0vocational school students and boys in the cost of having children. 6.There is a\u00a0close relationship between \u201cnumber of children in the future\u201d and \u201c values of\u00a0children\u201d. Finally, the conclusions are drawn from the points mentioned above,\u00a0and then the guideline for education program, the plan for population regulation,\u00a0suggestions and outlook for the future researches are proposed.<\/p>\n
