This article is a co-narrative inquiry of four college counselors.\u00a0Under the impact of Psychologists\u2019 Act, they try to introspect upon their\u00a0work as college counselors\u2014its reality, its fundamentals as well as its\u00a0subjectivity. The article also explores different possibilities for\u00a0counselors to create a future for their professional practice.
\nThe authors found the main challenge for counseling practitioners\u00a0comes more from the fact that the value of counseling work and helping\u00a0profession are not commonly acknowledged on college campuses,\u00a0instead of the difficulty in getting a license. Therefore, when college\u00a0counseling practitioners can work together to understand the question,\u00a0empower themselves with an autonomous professional group, and\u00a0cooperate on a practical scheme pending on the need of the campus,\u00a0then college counseling as a professional field can take root and grow on\u00a0campus.<\/p>\n
