Most humor tests developed in the past were both self-report and\u00a0for adults only, those tests readily induced social desirability.\u00a0Therefore the main purposes of this study were to develop Humor\u00a0Comprehension and Humor Creativity Test \uff08HCHCT\uff09 suiting the\u00a0junior and elementary students and designing a set of semi-structural\u00a0assessment standard for the test. The HCHCT have two scales, it\u00a0consists of humor comprehension scales and humor creativity scales.\u00a0The humor comprehension scales have two subscales, they are humor\u00a0jokes choice and humor jokes changing. The humor creativity scales\u00a0also have two subscales, they are humor pictures naming and humor\u00a0articles writing. All scales have 7 items, thus the HCHCT have 28\u00a0items. In reliability , humor comprehension scales and humor\u00a0creativity scales, the coefficient of internal consistency were .80\u00a0and .79, and the test-retest reliability coefficient were .65 and .65,\u00a0scorer reliability were .78-.90. Confirmatory factor analysis assisted\u00a0HCHCT\u2019s construct validity. The results suggested: a. the low\u00a0correlation of HCHCT and MSHS reveals they aren\u2019t identical\u00a0constructs; b. the correlation between HCHCT and peers ratings is\u00a0higher than the correlation between MSHS and peers ratings. The\u00a0above results demonstrated HCHCT can assess students\u2019 humor\u00a0comprehension ability more accurately than MSHS. Besides, the norm
\nof HCHCT was established based on 2443 fifth graders or eighth\u00a0graders students all around Taiwan.<\/p>\n
