The purpose of this study was to explore the correlation among\u00a0three factors, \u201cAttitude toward Behavior\u201d, \u201cSubjective Norm\u201d, and\u00a0\u201cPerceived Behavior Control\u201d to help seek intention under the control of\u00a0\u201cPerceived Stress\u201d effect based on the Theory of Planned Behavior. With\u00a0purposive sampling, employees of both companies, with or without\u00a0employment counseling service, were selected to fill in a structured\u00a0questionnaire. Three hundred fourteen validated copies were returned.\u00a0Statistical description, Pearson correlation, hierarchical regression\u00a0analysis, one-way ANOVA , t-test and Scheff\u2019e method were used to\u00a0analyze the data.
\nAfter the employees\u2019 \u201cPerceived Stress\u201d is controlled, of the three\u00a0factors, only \u201cAttitude toward Behavior\u201d significantly predicts the\u00a0employees\u2019 intention to seek individual employment counseling. The\u00a0employees with counseling experience are more likely to seek\u00a0\u201cindividual employment counseling\u201d, \u201cgroup employment counseling\u201d,\u00a0\u201cmental health lectures\u201d, and \u201cpsychological tests and interpretation\u201d,\u00a0than those without counseling experience. Furthermore, the employees\u00a0of junior college background are more likely to seek \u201cgroup employment\u00a0counseling\u201d than college graduate employees. As to the acceptance\u00a0aspect of the employment counseling, \u201cpsychological tests and\u00a0interpretation\u201d, \u201cmental health lectures\u201d, \u201cindividual employment\u00a0counseling\u201d, and \u201cgroup employment counseling\u201d are accepted by the\u00a0employees in rank order.<\/p>\n
